SoDevious Records is an independent record label launched in 2007, based in England, and designed to look at things a little deviously... We focus on releasing the best new dance and electronic music directly into the digital domain.  We cut out the supply chain, the middle-men, and the seemingly endless wait between hearing a track and the single being released. 

Whenever you hear a SoDevious track you can come to the website and find out about it, buy it immediately, and within minutes have your own copy playing from your speakers right in front of you.

The Music

Our size and business model allows us flexibility that lumbering major labels can’t achieve.  Our artists get the benefit of open and flexible contracts that are a million miles away from the ‘sell your soul’ scribbles of some other labels, and our customers get the best possible value for money from their purchases.  If you create music that you feel we may be interested in then by all means drop us a line, but please don’t attach MP3 files to your e-mails.  If you’re a DJ playing SoDevious tracks please let us know, we’d love to hear from you.

The Vision

SoDevious Records was founded by UK producer Jonathan Barker, born from a vision to use the internet to create a better way of distributing music.  Our aim is to distribute the best new electronic music via digital means, removing the cost of the retail middlemen, and allowing instant availability.  This, is by no means it though.  Plans for SoDevious Records reach far and wide, so check back for updates regularly.
